In return for overnight lodging, Chris Collins, Jim Adams, and Jon Russell shovel snow off of the Lodge roof.

Even structures made by human hands on Pine Mountain send kind messages to campers.

Hiking from the Peabody River's 3rd to 5th Hole was a regular activity. Along the way it got rather muddy. After it was discovered that beavers built their dams in that area, this activity was discontinued so as not to disturb their habitat.
